Extramind process or xMP is xMind’s way of delivering consistent quality service to all its clients. It is composed of 4 important components such as System and Procedures, Documentation, Policies and Performance Evaluation that revolves around the objectives of:
• Quality Service
• Efficiency, and
• Client relations
Extramind uses as its main tool in the delivery of service to clients a proprietary web-based accounting system or what is known as Omega Financial Suite or OFS. This system, developed on open-source environment and running on Linux platform, is hosted internally under a very secured environment. Among the security measures implemented are intrusion protection on the server, the use of SSL (or secured socket layer) which is commonly used for most e-commerce sites including credit card transactions and the application-level security use of multi-level user names and passwords.
xMind also uses as its main tool its proprietary Time and Expense Reporting system or TKR for its service-oriented clients. This system captures the time spent on a particular engagement/client as well as chargeable out-of-pocket expenses. It helps produce reports needed by operations as well as summarizes transactions for accounting purposes. TKR is also a web-based system, developed under an open-source environment and running on Linux platform. Like the OFS, this system is hosted internally under a very secured environment.
